Dan also serves as a staff representative with the Illinois Livestock Development Group drawing upon his upbringing on a livestock farm.

Dan attended Illinois State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communication with an emphasis in Mass Media. He grew up on a dairy and grain farm in Northwest Illinois where his family still farms. In his spare time he enjoys travelling to national parks, biking, discovering new breweries and neighborhoods and spending time with friends and family.

Dan and his partner Allie split their time between Bloomington, Clinton, Orangeville, Galena, IL and Reedsburg, WI and everywhere in between.
