Lucas is an experienced Accounting Manager who joined IL Corn in December of 2020. His responsibilities include overseeing the accounting and finance functions for both Illinois Corn Marketing Board and Illinois Corn Growers Association.
 

He has a background in public accounting performing audit and tax work for various types of organizations, including governmental units and not-for-profit organizations. He also has several years of work experience in the private sector performing financial analysis and accounting work.
 

Lucas received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Springfield. From there, he passed the CPA exam and went on to graduate school. He holds an MBA as well as a graduate certificate in Business Process Management, both from UIS.
 

Lucas resides in Bloomington with his wife and two kids.
