As the end of the 2010 harvest nears, it’s time to mark your calendar for the 14^th annual University of Illinois Corn and Soybean Classics.

“This educational program continues to provide our clientele with the most current and timely information related to crop production, marketing and pest management,” said Aaron Hager, U of I Extension weed specialist. “In 2010, more than 1,000 people attended the Corn and Soybean Classics. We believe this excellent attendance bears affirmative testimony that our clientele place a high value on this educational program.”

The dates and meeting locations for the 2011 Corn and Soybean Classics follow:

▸ Thursday, Jan. 6: Mt. Vernon (Holiday Inn)

▸ Friday, Jan. 7: Champaign (I Hotel and Conference Center)

▸ Monday, Jan. 10: Bloomington (DoubleTree Hotel)
▸ Tuesday, Jan. 11: Malta (Kishwaukee College)

▸ Wednesday, Jan. 12: Moline (i wireless Center)

▸ Thursday, Jan. 13: Quincy (Holiday Inn)
