Illinois Corn Growers Association members are invited to enjoy a free night of baseball and agriculture at the Normal, IL CornBelters professional baseball games.  Every Monday home game (June 20, June 27, July 18, and August 1) is ICGA member appreciation night with ICGA members receiving one free general admission ticket of ½ off an $11 box seat ticket.

Members should bring their ICGA membership card or a copy of the letter they received about the offer to receive the discount at the Corn Crib.

In addition to the baseball game, members will witness firsthand the Illinois Corn Marketing Board’s efforts to educate the public and talk about corn production and corn products as a benefit to consumers and the economy.  Messaging is simple, but CornBelter’s fans are starting to understand terms like “silks” and “tassels” as well as how big an acre is and how much a bushel is.  This education helps the general public understand larger issues about agriculture and farming.

Please join us in celebrating this new decade in agriculture where communications and connection with our consumer is a top priority.  IL Corn and the Corn Crib look forward to hosting corn farmer families and to showing you your checkoff dollars at work.
