The Illinois Corn Marketing Board is currently accepting applications for summer interns.  This is part of our effort to provide meaningful agricultural experience to college students and encourage investment in the industry as well as utilize college students to boost the image of the Illinois farmer.

ICMB summer communications internships focus around the production of videos, managing social media applications, and performing other communications tasks as needed over the summer.  ICMB also offers an Ag in the Classroom summer internship, allowing college students to gain educational experiences talking about corn production and corn farmers.

Candidates must submit the following to the ICMB office no later than February 15, 2012:

•     A completed application form.

•     A current resume.

•     A list of accomplishments, awards, and activities (may be included in resume).

•     An essay on “Why I want to be the Illinois Corn Marketing Board Communications Intern.” (No longer than one typed page.)
