At a meeting of the U.S. Grains Council, former Illinois Corn Growers Association staffer Larry Groce received the organization’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Groce was with Illinois Corn from 1972-74.
During his time with ICGA, Groce attended his first U.S. “Feed” Grains Council meeting in Stratton Mountain, VT in August 1974 with ICGA President Rollie Main. Illinois Corn became a new member of USFGC at that time.
