BULLET POINTS TO HELP YOU CONNECT WITH YOUR CONGRESSMAN
The House of Representatives is back in session on September 8, giving you a little more than two weeks to connect with your Congressman while he or she is in Illinois for the August district work period.
If you haven’t already, call and schedule an appointment or check out your Congressman’s schedule of events on their website. Make a point to connect with them, develop a relationship with them, and explain to them what you’re facing on your farm.

Explain to them how programs that build demand like export markets and increased ethanol market opportunity can help increase commodity prices and help the farmers and rural community members in the district.
