The Illinois Corn Growers Association held Farm Bill Member Input Sessions throughout the state at the end of 2016 and they were a success! Thank you to those who were able to come in person and provide feedback on what's important to Illinois farmers concerning future farm bills. It's incredibly important to hear first-hand the expectations and concerns of Illinois farmers.
If you weren't able to make it to one of our sessions, there's still a chance to contribute by taking the online survey below:
The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete. We know, that's a good chunk of time! However, your opinion matters. Need proof? Take a look at what your contributions have helped create in the past:
- The current revenue-based system as opposed to a price support system.
- The yield trend endorsement concept was built from your input that crop insurance was valuable, but needed improvement.
- Your idea that farm programs should not guarantee farmer profitability but support farmers during bad years.
We need your input. Please consider taking the time to fill it out.
The online survey will be available through January 20.
