CORN CHECKOFF BOARD ELECTION RESULTS FINALIZED BY IDOA

The Illinois Department of Agriculture announced the winners of the 2017 state agricultural commodity board elections. The Illinois Corn Marketing Board elected board members will serve three-year terms. This board oversees the checkoff dollars that come from assessments levied at the first point of sale. State law sets assessment for corn at 5/8 of 1 cent per bushel.
