IL Corn is seeking qualified college students with backgrounds in or interest in agriculture to fill our fall 2014 internships.  Two internship opportunities exist: social media and video production.  Deadline to apply for these exciting opportunities is May 15.

The IL Corn Social Media Internship is an opportunity for students to engage on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, You Tube, and blogs on behalf of agriculture with a goal of increasing non-farmer understanding of farmers and farming methods. The internship is structured like an independent project; students can complete the internship from any college campus in Illinois with only two required visits to Bloomington. Deadline to apply for this opportunity is May 15.

The IL Corn Video Production Internship is an opportunity for students with video production skill sets to script, shoot, edit, and produce videos that increase non-farmer understanding of farmers and farming methods. This internship requires regular office hours in Bloomington, IL and thus is best suited for students at Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University, and Heartland Community College, although all students are welcome to apply and IL Corn seeks to be flexible with qualified students outside of Bloomington-Normal. Deadline to apply for this opportunity is May 15.
