IL Corn is seeking applicants for four unique Summer 2017 internship experiences. We feel it is important to support the professional developments of college-aged students that are interested in agriculture. It is the desire of both the Illinois Corn Marketing Board and the Illinois Corn Growers Association board that any intern participating in this program will leave with valuable experience, along with a genuine desire to serve the industry in their future career work.

Qualified applicants must be Illinois residents, have a driver’s license, and enrolled full time in a college undergraduate or graduate degree program. The internships take place at our office and interested applicants should arrange living accommodations for the duration of the internship. Below you can find descriptions of each available internship.

The purpose of the Illinois Corn Marketing Board (ICMB) Ag in the Classroom Intern program is to provide an opportunity for a young person to work as a part of the ICMB staff during the summer of 2017 by providing information to Illinois teachers about how to incorporate corn lessons plans into their classrooms.
