Interested farmers can help the Illinois Corn Growers Association determine the farming community’s perspective on nutrient loss and the Illinois Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy by participating in a study conducted by a researcher at Illinois State University.

As a member, you may have already received an email or a letter from George Hoselton, a graduate student in the Department of Agriculture at ISU.  George seeks to determine how farmers are working towards meeting the goals of the Illinois Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy and how they feel about the practices they are being asked to implement.

IL Corn is assisting with the study because we understand the importance of this issue in preventing mandatory nutrient loss laws, but we will not be notified of your participation in the study nor will any information you provide be made public.  All of your answers are anonymous and confidential.

Participation in this study involves no risks greater than those encountered in everyday life.  Refusal to participate in this research study involves no penalty or loss of benefits, and you may withdraw from the study at any time without penalty or loss of benefits. You may also choose to skip questions that you prefer not to answer.

By completing this survey, you are indicating that you are at least 18 years of age and are consenting to participate in the study. If you choose to participate, please click on the link below to be taken to the survey.
