The Illinois Corn Growers Association is hosting a telephone town hall meeting this evening to bring awareness to the threat to your corn market. U.S. EPA has proposed a rule to limit ethanol. That rule is projected to kill 500 million bushels of corn demand. Now is the time to take action. Join the call to learn how.

U.S. Senator Dick Durbin, ICGA President Gary Hudson, and Bob Dinneen, President of the Renewable Fuels Association will be speaking on the call.

If you received a phone call Wednesday afternoon, you will get another call today at about 5:15pm to connect you to this tele-town hall meeting. Please connect to the call if at all possible.

If you did not get the call or won’t be at home at 5:15pm TONIGHT, you do have the option to call in directly. A recording of the meeting will be posted here on our website for you to listen to at your convenience, as well. But remember! Your comments must be on the EPA docket by January 28 at 10:59pm.

To directly dial and join the meeting tonight call 877-229-8493 and enter pin code 13603 followed by the # sign.

If you’d like to ask a question, press *3 (star sign and the number 3) on your phone to give your question to the operator.

If you’d like to receive continuing updates on this issue from IL Corn, you can stay on the line through the completion of the call. At that time, you’ll be able to leave us a voice mail message with your name and email address and any other questions you’d like answered.
